Interior Comparison
The 2024 Honda Odyssey and the 2024 Toyota Sienna have more than 160 cubic feet of interior volume. They come with three rows of seats and can carry up to eight adults. The 2024 Toyota Sienna can also be chosen with a seven-seat captain chair configuration. However, the 2024 Odyssey gets Honda’s Magic Slide® second-row seats. These are three individual seats that can be adjusted fore and aft and removed from the vehicle. Hence, they are more versatile and adaptable than the 2024 Sienna’s seats. Plus, most trims of the 2024 Odyssey get a one-touch power-operated moonroof. This isn’t the case for the 2024 Sienna.
Every 2024 Odyssey comes with active noise cancellation. The system ensures a quieter cabin environment when on the move. It does this by canceling out engine and road sounds. There’s also an active control engine mount system to quell vibrations. The 2024 Sienna doesn’t offer some of these useful features.
Both minivans have around 33 cubic feet of trunk capacity when all three rows of seats are deployed. They also offer more space by folding their second and third rows. The 2024 Odyssey’s Magic Slide® second row seats can be completely removed (with the use of special tools) from the vehicle for more cargo capacity. Furthermore, its third row features a One-Motion 60-40 split-folding Magic Seat®. With all these features deployed, the 2024 Odyssey can carry over 140 cubic feet of cargo. Higher trims include a power-operated tailgate as well.
Then, the 2024 Odyssey gets tri-zone automatic climate control with humidity control and air filtration for all trims. The second and third rows have separate air vents, with a second-row control panel as well. All 2024 Odyssey trims get power-adjustable and heated front seats. The 2024 Sienna has some of these features, too. Both minivans can also be specified with leather upholstery and rear entertainment systems.
Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are standard for the 2024 Odyssey and 2024 Sienna ranges. Both vehicles also offer wireless phone chargers for higher trims. The 2024 Odyssey can also be specified with a 550-watt premium audio system with a subwoofer, multi-zone audio capabilities, and an HDMI interface.
Finally, the 2024 Odyssey comes with two useful monitoring systems. The CabinWatch® system uses a rear-mounted camera and allows the driver to view the third row via the infotainment screen. If necessary, they can communicate with third-row occupants via the CabinTalk® system.
